Kirk Glaser is a poet and prose writer whose work has been nominated twice for the Pushcart Prize and has appeared in publications including The San Francisco Chronicle, The Threepenny Review, Nimrod, Chicago Quarterly Review, and Catamaran. Awards for his work include a New Millennium Writings Contest Finalist, American Academy of Poets Prize, University of California Poet Laureate Award, Gertrude Stein Fiction Award Finalist/Dr. T.J. Eckleburg Review, and Richard Eberhart Poetry Award/Southeast Literary Review. A Teaching Professor at Santa Clara University, he serves as Director of the Creative Writing Program and Faculty Advisor to the Santa Clara Review. He is co-editor of the anthology New California Writing 2013, Heyday.
