Tim Fitts
Tim Fitts lives in Philadelphia with his wife and two children. Fitts teaches in the Liberal Arts Department of the Curtis Institute of Music and serves on the editorial staff of The Painted Bride Quarterly.
Fitts was born in Dallas, Texas, and grew up in the South, spending his childhood in Shades Mountain, Alabama, then moving to Clearwater, Florida until finishing college. During Fitts’ college years, he spent years playing music and spent two years working extensively in the Sycom studios at the University of South Florida. Fitts’ photography work can be seen at the Thomas Deans Gallery, in Atlanta.His stories have appeared in numerous national literary journals, and his story “No Rabio” was selected as a Special Mention in the 2013 Pushcart Prize. Hypothermia is his first published collection of short stories, and his novel The Soju Club was published as a Korean translation.
